Firmware & Software Engineer

• BMC & UEFI firmware R&D: led applied research on the BMC firmware stack (NTP synchronisation, centralised log management, TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle, sensor naming conventions, ipmitool upgrades). Contributed specifications and patches to the firmware projects.
• API development & NPI tooling: designed and built internal APIs and automation tools to accelerate NPI validation and RUN operations, including a fully deployed firmware validation utility that reduces manual effort and error rates across hardware teams.
• Product lifecycle & CMDB: developed lifecycle tracking tools for bare metal server firmware; contributed to the architecture and setup of a CMDB supporting firmware inventory, traceability and version management at scale.
• NPI delivery: managed end-to-end validation cycles for multiple bare metal server generations, from firmware qualification and debugging to supplier follow-up and integration, consistently meeting roadmap deadlines.
• AI Ambassador: designated company AI ambassador; drove AI adoption within the team through experiments with ML models, LLM-assisted tooling POCs and knowledge sharing across engineering communities.
• Mentoring & onboarding: technically onboarded and mentored 3 interns and 1 full-time engineer; designed onboarding frameworks and maintained structured engineering documentation on Confluence.
